Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care for critical needs
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the chart
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license — ready to practice in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or obtainable
• Prior experience in Emergency Room or acute care settings is highly valued
• Strong clinical judgment, triage experience, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Current immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in emergency triage, rapid assessment, and prioritization
• Comfortable with IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients' families
• Proficient documentation practices; familiarity with electronic health records
• Calm under pressure with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
