Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week totaling 36 hours

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to trauma, burn, and pediatric patients in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists to deliver exceptional emergency care
Float between four facilities to support dynamic staffing needs while maintaining clinical excellence
Monitor cardiac rhythms on Phillips telemetry and interpret strips with confidence
Maintain strict sterile technique during procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ATCN preferred
Minimum 2 years of ER experience with at least 6 months in a Level 1 trauma setting
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation skills
Ability to manage high patient volumes in a busy trauma center
Comfortable floating between multiple ER locations
Excellent sterile technique and procedural competency
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
