Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the radiology program to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
• Track incoming studies to confirm timely submission and accurate reporting
• Provide PACS training and hands-on support to radiology staff
• Oversee maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance of radiology equipment
• Manage the radiation protection monitoring program and perform lead apron testing
• Work with clinic administrators, medical directors, and Finance to maintain the chargemaster and identify revenue opportunities
• Create, update, and enforce radiology policies and procedures
• Ensure all quality assurance and quality control activities are completed and documented
• Supervise, evaluate, and develop radiology staff to maintain competency and performance
• Perform radiologic exams within your scope of competence and assist with radiology transcription issues and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
• Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
• Registered Mammographer preferred
• Registered Ultrasound Technologist preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 5 years experience in Radiology Management and supervision
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
• PACS training required; CT and MRI technologist experience preferred
• Proven supervisory, communication, and documentation skills

Education

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of MQSA requirements and digitized imaging workflows
• Familiarity with federal, state, and accreditation regulations applicable to radiology
• Experience with PACS, radiology equipment maintenance, and QA/QC processes
• Ability to manage radiation safety and monitoring programs
• Comfort working in multiple computer systems and maintaining the radiology chargemaster
• Strong oral and written communication, multitasking, and team-building skills
• Ability to write radiology manuals and organize medical documentation clearly
