Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 4-hour shifts (exact days and start/end times to be confirmed); includes orientation

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered physical therapy care tailored to each individual
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve function
Document patient evaluations, progress and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other therapists to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Support a positive, safety-focused environment and contribute to quality improvement

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in California (required)
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Previous clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
Ability to perform patient assessments, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy as required by state/license

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
Proficient with patient assessment, gait training and mobility interventions
Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records (EMR)
Knowledge of safety precautions, patient handling and infection control
Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
