Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide skilled therapy interventions across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
Document clinical findings and progress clearly and timely in the EMR in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safe mobility strategies
Use clinical reasoning to adapt treatment plans for diverse diagnoses and complex care needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
Active California Physical Therapy License in good standing
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
Proficiency with EMR systems and strong clinical documentation skills

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Skilled clinical documentation
Experience across inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
Attention to detail and commitment to professional development
Comfortable using EMR and basic computer applications

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical pay scale with progression up to 30 years of service
