Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend shifts required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy services across acute care units including ICU, MedSurg, oncology, and cardiology
Deliver specialized rehabilitation for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and outcomes
Support patients through every stage of their hospital journey with compassionate, hands-on care

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, oncology, and cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR documentation
Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Patient assessment and rehabilitation planning
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
