Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating nights, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Dispense life-saving medications with precision using DoseEdge automation
Manage high-volume inpatient pharmacy operations for 500-600 daily census
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate records in Meditech EMR system
Ensure safe medication handling in a fast-paced 600-bed facility

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in good standing
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience
Proficiency in DoseEdge required - its your must-have superpower
Familiarity with Pyxis ES and Meditech a huge plus
Thrives in busy environments and hates being bored

Education

PharmD or equivalent from accredited pharmacy program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in DoseEdge pharmacy automation
Experience with Pyxis ES medication dispensing
Meditech EMR proficiency
Inpatient pharmacy operations
High-volume medication management
