Roles & Responsibilities

Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression
Collect and record vital signs and patient histories accurately
Prepare patients and assist clinicians during exams and minor procedures
Document visit details clearly in the patient record/EHR
Coordinate patient flow, manage appointment logistics, and schedule follow-ups
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment
Complete orientation and ongoing training to stay current with protocols

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with basic clinical procedures such as vitals, injections, and specimen collection
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient communication and bedside manner
Accurate vital signs collection and basic clinical assessments
EHR/documentation fundamentals and attention to detail
Basic phlebotomy and injection skills (as trained)
Infection control and clinical safety practices
Time management, teamwork, and adaptability in a clinic setting
