Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet and triage patients with professionalism and a warm bedside manner
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Assist clinicians with exams and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies to meet standards
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic chart
- Support infection control practices and maintain a safe clinical environment
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred
- Previous ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus but not always required
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in taking accurate vitals and obtaining patient histories
- Comfortable assisting with basic clinical procedures and specimen collection
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and basic medical terminology
- Good time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Compassionate patient education and clear communication skills
