Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for their appointments with warmth and professionalism
Obtain and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
Assist clinical staff with exams and minor procedures as directed
Document patient information in the electronic health record clearly and timely
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
Communicate effectively with patients and the care team to ensure smooth visits
Support patient education and follow-up instructions to improve outcomes

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate preferred
Current BLS (CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain during orientation
Prior clinic or outpatient experience is a plus but not required for per diem roles
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Proof of required immunizations and ability to pass background checks

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing basic clinical assessments
Familiarity with electronic health record systems or ability to learn quickly
Basic phlebotomy and specimen handling skills preferred
Knowledge of infection control and clinical safety procedures
Excellent time management and teamwork skills
Professional bedside manner and ability to support diverse patient populations
