Shift Type: Day, AM shifts, 4-hour per diem shifts (start times vary)
Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
- Assist clinicians during ambulatory exams and minor procedures
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as specimen collection and point of care testing
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record
- Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to support smooth clinic flow
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate compassionately
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening as required
- Ability to work reliably for per diem AM shifts in Spokane, WA
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certificate preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with taking and recording vital signs and basic clinical assessments
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
- Phlebotomy and specimen handling skills are a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, and standard clinical protocols
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional bedside manner
