Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit with professionalism
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit accurately
- Assist clinicians with procedures and exams in the ambulatory setting
- Manage clinical documentation in the electronic medical record with attention to detail
- Collect and label specimens, perform point-of-care testing as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and restock clinical supplies
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) for patient safety
- Comfortable working in an ambulatory/clinic environment and supporting fast-paced workflows
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re the friendly face patients appreciate
- Ability to pass background checks and facility-required onboarding/orientation
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or vocational training preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in taking vitals and basic clinical measurements
- Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and infection control practices
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a clinic setting
- Compassionate patient interaction and effective teamwork
