Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit to create a comfortable experience
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit accurately
- Assist clinicians during examinations and minor procedures in the ambulatory setting
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, specimen handling, and administering injections as directed
- Document patient encounters and update electronic health records promptly and accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
- Ensure clinic rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care
- Support patient education and follow-up instructions to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered/Relevant MA credential preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working in an ambulatory clinic environment and supporting a fast-paced schedule
- Valid state-required certifications and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma/certificate preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with taking vitals, patient triage, and clinical room setup
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and accurate documentation
- Skills in phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection (preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
