Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked for efficient patient flow
- Greet patients, collect vitals, and document clinical information accurately
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures with professionalism
- Perform specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and routine clinical tasks
- Administer injections and medications per provider orders and protocol
- Educate patients on treatments, follow-up care, and clinic resources
- Maintain a clean, safe, and HIPAA-compliant clinical environment
- Participate in orientation and training to support consistency of care
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (or equivalent MA credential)
- BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Previous ambulatory clinic experience preferred but enthusiastic new grads welcome
- Comfortable with injections, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Ability to work independently on per diem shifts and adapt to varying schedules
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or related clinical training preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic clinical documentation
- Skill in taking accurate vital signs and basic clinical measurements
- Experience with specimen collection and point-of-care testing
- Solid understanding of infection control and HIPAA privacy rules
- Good multitasking, time management, and patient communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow clinical protocols
