Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist clinical team with ambulatory patient care and rooming
- Perform patient intake tasks including vitals, history, and documentation
- Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient visits
- Support providers during procedures and ensure a smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate updates to the care team
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent training welcomed
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Prior ambulatory or outpatient clinic experience a plus
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and immunization requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certificate or relevant vocational training preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable taking vitals and performing basic clinical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ambulatory setting
- Professional bedside manner and clear communication with patients and staff
