Location: Spokane, WA

Start Date: 04-24-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: AM shift, 4-hour ambulatory shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring team (orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians in ambulatory care by preparing exam rooms and patients
Perform point-of-care testing, basic clinical procedures, and specimen collection
Document patient information accurately in the medical record
Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely check-in/check-out
Educate patients and families on basic care instructions and follow-up
Communicate clearly with providers, staff, and families to support high-quality care
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, or completion of an accredited MA program
BLS/CPR certification required or able to obtain quickly
Comfortable working in ambulatory/clinic settings; prior outpatient experience a plus
Strong communication skills and a friendly bedside manner
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements

Education

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or high school diploma/GED with relevant training or experience

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical skills for basic procedures, vitals, and specimen handling
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Patient-centered communication and family education
Time management and ability to support a fast-paced clinic
Teamwork mindset and willingness to pitch in across tasks
