Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Perform bedside assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Support daily living needs, promoting dignity and comfort for each patient
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment that improves patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Hawaii required by the start of the assignment
• Practical nursing credential (LPN) with clinical experience in long-term care
• Comfortable working 12-hour shift patterns typical of LTC/critical access settings
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and meet client credentialing requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program (LPN)
• Active Hawaii LPN license required by assignment start

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of long-term care nursing principles and resident-focused care
• Skilled in assessment, documentation, and communicating clinical changes
• Competence with medication administration and routine nursing procedures
• Teamwork, reliability, and a calming presence for patients and families
• Adaptability to rural hospital and clinic workflows
