Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update patient care plans
• Support patient and family education with compassion and clarity
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Promote a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Assist with procedures and support continuity of care during shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license appropriate for practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work per diem/day shifts, including flexibility for varying schedules
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative care team
• Dependable professional with a patient-centered approach and good clinical judgment

Education

• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
• Patient comfort measures and safe mobility assistance
• Clinical documentation and charting accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Familiarity with basic infection control practices
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient advocacy
