Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in a busy facility
• Administer medications and document responses accurately and promptly
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and ancillary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care with attention to detail
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic charting and patient records
• Support infection control practices and a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in North Carolina (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required by facility)
• Prior experience in a long-term care, acute care, or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to follow facility policies, maintain documentation, and prioritize patient safety

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent certificate/diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and bedside care
• Medication administration and basic charting/EMR navigation
• Ability to monitor and report changes in patient status effectively
• Time management skills for extended shift coverage
• Teamwork mindset and professional bedside manner
