Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

Current Dental Assistant certification or registration in Maryland
X-ray certification preferred
CPR/BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency in dental software and charting
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate patient care approach
