Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic nursing care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor, record, and report vital signs and patient observations
Support licensed nursing staff with treatments, transfers, and ambulation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient chart
Communicate clearly with the care team and patients' families
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active authorization to work in the state (state-specific CNA credentials)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
Ability to pass background check and meet immunization/TB screening requirements
Strong communication skills, compassion, and reliability

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Basic charting and electronic health record (EHR) familiarity
Infection control and safety procedures
Time management and ability to work in a team
Observation skills and timely reporting of changes in condition
