Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff by monitoring and recording vital signs and patient status
Support safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and patients
Communicate clearly with the care team and document observations accurately
Build rapport with patients and families to enhance comfort and well-being

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant); Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED required
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, charting, and observation
Familiarity with resident-centered care and dignity-focused support
Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to nursing staff
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
