Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
Maintain patient dignity and comfort while supporting mobility and hygiene
Document patient care and communicate changes promptly to the nurse in charge
Collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and handling physically active duties
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care tasks: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding
Able to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills, ability to follow care plans
Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow clinical direction
