Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Document care and observations clearly and timely in the patient record
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
Active state-required licensure or certification to work as a CNA
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous patient care experience preferred; positive attitude and strong bedside manner
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety procedures
Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
Comfortable assisting with mobility and ADLs while promoting patient dignity
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation and charting proficiency
