Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, days and specific start/end times not specified (schedule to be confirmed)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility support
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with resident transfers and mobility; ability to stand and lift as needed
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but candidates with training are encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (state required)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL support
Accurate vital signs measurement and reporting
Basic infection control and safety procedures
Documentation and charting best practices
Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and work within a nursing team
