Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper techniques
Document care and observations clearly in patient records
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Help create a warm, respectful environment that supports dignity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (Pennsylvania preferred)
Valid basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Clean background check and up-to-date TB screening per facility policy
Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a caring attitude
Ability to perform physical tasks required for resident care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance and personal care
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
Basic charting and communication skills with clinical teams
Teamwork, time management, and compassionate patient interaction
