Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to maintain resident independence
Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff
Document care and observations accurately and timely in the resident record
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
Basic clinical observation and reporting
Infection control and proper PPE use
Accurate charting and documentation
Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
