Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and independence
Monitor and accurately record resident vital signs and observations
Help with feeding, toileting, and ambulation while following care plans
Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff in a timely way
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working with older adults in a skilled nursing setting
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Dependable, punctual, and ready to be part of a collaborative care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; successful completion of a state-approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of resident care and infection control practices
Strong observation and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow care plans and direction from RNs/LPNs
Compassion, patience, and a positive bedside manner
