Start Date: 04-14-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; exact start/end times and days to be determined (schedule TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care plans
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively on a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills and familiarity with activities of daily living
Comfortable with charting and accurate documentation
Ability to follow care plans and physician/nurse directions
Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
