Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Measure and record vital signs and report clinical changes to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Support safe patient transfers and adherence to infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to promote patient comfort and recovery
• Provide emotional support and respectful communication with patients and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant); Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar patient-facing role is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
• Familiarity with basic infection prevention and control practices
• Comfortable with charting and following care plans
• Teamwork, time management, and a positive bedside manner
