Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift), days vary

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Help with safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
Document care activities and observations clearly in the patient record
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable assisting with patient transfers and basic mobility needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and support for activities of daily living
Taking and accurately recording vital signs
Patient safety, infection control, and proper hygiene practices
Clear documentation and effective communication with clinical teams
Empathy, patience, and strong observational skills
