Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts, schedule varies (exact start/end times assigned by the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support mobility and safe transfers while using proper body mechanics
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident status
Follow individualized care plans and assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
Contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and health requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program and holding an active CNA registry listing

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident-centered care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Infection control practices and proper PPE use
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Careful documentation and effective communication with the care team
