Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and independence
Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and coworkers
Communicate kindly and clearly with residents and families to support person-centered care
Follow care plans and documentation standards to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
Comfortable providing direct resident care and working as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to varying per diem assignments

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance skills
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
Empathy, patience, and a resident-centered approach
