Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate documentation and charting of care provided
Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that preserves dignity
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state-required documentation and ability to work in Pennsylvania
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, TB test) as requested
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, assisting patients)
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care techniques and activities of daily living
Basic infection prevention and control practices
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Good observational skills and attention to detail
Teamwork, adaptability, and strong time management
