Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, basic assessments, and documentation to support high-quality care
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to promote coordinated care
• Support transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by showing respect, empathy, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate bedside manner
• Comfort with physical aspects of the role, including lifting and assisting patients
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, patient hygiene, mobility assistance
• Familiarity with patient safety and infection control practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes in patient condition
• Teamwork, time management, and customer-service oriented mindset
