Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
Document care and observations in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Current state CNA certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Compassionate, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved state CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient hygiene
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and basic measurements
Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to learn facility systems
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
