Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients thoroughly to develop individualized treatment plans that restore function and independence
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic exercise and mobility programs
• Provide hands-on manual therapy and adaptive technique instruction to maximize recovery
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and long-term wellness
• Document interventions and progress clearly and timely in the patient record
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans to ensure measurable progress

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland or eligible for Maryland licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working with adult rehabilitation populations in an outpatient/rehab setting
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Proof of immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Master's in related field considered with appropriate credentials

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, mobility and gait training, and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques and adaptive equipment
• Familiarity with common rehab diagnoses and evidence-based interventions
• Proficient documentation skills and comfort using electronic medical records
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and educate patients effectively
