Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to promote comfort and independence
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition accurately and promptly
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices consistently
• Document care activities and observations in facility records with attention to detail
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families, bringing dignity and respect to every interaction

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to work an overnight 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM shift and provide consistent, reliable coverage
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
• Comfortable performing physical aspects of resident care and working in a team-based setting
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding and required checks prior to start

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and basic resident care
• Knowledge of basic infection control and patient safety principles
• Ability to take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
• Good documentation habits and clear communication with clinical teams
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
