Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition promptly
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and patient interactions
Follow infection control procedures and keep patient areas clean and safe
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to coordinate care
Support a positive, resident-centered environment by promoting independence and respect

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfort with overnight shifts and ability to safely assist patients during the night
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer/mobility assistance
Vital signs monitoring and recognition of common clinical changes
Infection prevention and proper use of personal protective equipment
Accurate documentation and time management
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and verbal/written instructions
