Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care environment
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Perform resident assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow care plans
• Support residents and families with clear communication and compassionate education
• Participate in required competency testing and adherence to facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience or interest in Long Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
• Willingness to undergo License/Certificate Verification
• Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (see checklist)
• Comfort participating in Trinity competency testing and required evaluations
• Open to per-diem/pool scheduling and flexible shift coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of long-term care principles and resident-focused care
• Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
• Infection control knowledge and adherence to vaccination/fit testing requirements
• Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Accurate documentation and basic familiarity with electronic charting
• Dependability, adaptability, and professionalism in a fast-paced LTC setting
