Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care environment
• Assess resident condition and document findings clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create and update care plans
• Perform routine and specialty nursing procedures per competency guidelines
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in mandatory competency testing and maintain required certifications
• Support infection prevention practices, immunization compliance, and health screenings

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential required
• BLS certification required
• Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care settings preferred
• Successful License/Certificate Verification is required prior to start
• Ability to complete required health screenings: Fit Test, TB screening (PPD or IGRA), drug screen, respirator evaluation
• Up-to-date immunizations or documented exemptions: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
• Willingness to complete Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and Trinity Color Vision check

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and documentation best practices
• Medication administration and monitoring in a LTC population
• Basic life support and emergency response skills
• Infection control and immunization protocols
• Comfort using electronic health records and completing competency testing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for resident-centered care
• Ability to follow facility policies for health screenings and respirator use
