Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long term care/PACE setting
- Perform ongoing assessments and monitor resident health status, reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following all policies and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and ensure accurate license/certification records
- Support immunization and screening compliance and assist with required health checks
- Mentor and support fellow staff to uphold high standards of resident care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (license verification required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist (per checklist/testing requirement)
- Current occupational health requirements: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine, physical/health statement
- Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen
- Comfort working in a per diem pool and adapting to variable schedules
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in long term care nursing and chronic condition management
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with infection control practices and immunization protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork within interdisciplinary care teams
- Attention to detail for compliance with license/certification and testing requirements
- Ability to use electronic health records and complete required checklists accurately
