Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Assess residents regularly and document clinical changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow care plans
• Perform specialty competency tasks as required and maintain certifications
• Maintain infection control practices and promote a safe environment for residents
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to support quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• License/certificate verification on file
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred
• Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and facility-specific onboarding
• Must meet health and screening requirements: Fit Test; 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot); Trinity 10-panel drug screen; respirator evaluation; MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations; Trinity color vision; and a physical/health statement

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking in LTC populations
• Medication administration and accurate documentation practices
• Infection prevention and control knowledge
• Proficient communication and teamwork skills
• Comfort with competency-based testing and following facility protocols
• Professionalism and ability to adapt to varying shift assignments
