Shift Type: Per diem pool, schedule varies; shifts as assigned (day, night and weekend coverage possible)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care across long term care settings
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
- Document care and clinical status thoroughly in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills validation
- Follow infection control practices and support vaccination and screening initiatives
- Respond to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Current immunizations and screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Successful Trinity 10-panel drug screen and license/certificate verification
- Current physical/health statement as required by facility policy
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and medication administration
- Long term care practices and resident-centered approaches
- Infection prevention and control procedures
- Familiarity with Trinity competency processes and skills checklists
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced per diem environment
