Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care across long term care settings
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform routine assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
• Document care and clinical status thoroughly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills validation
• Follow infection control practices and support vaccination and screening initiatives
• Respond to clinical emergencies and escalate concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Current immunizations and screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
• Successful Trinity 10-panel drug screen and license/certificate verification
• Current physical/health statement as required by facility policy

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and medication administration
• Long term care practices and resident-centered approaches
• Infection prevention and control procedures
• Familiarity with Trinity competency processes and skills checklists
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced per diem environment
