Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor changes in resident condition and communicate with interdisciplinary team
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Ensure infection control practices and immunization compliance are followed
• Participate in trainings, chart audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in New Jersey or compact license where applicable
• Recent experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Up-to-date immunizations as listed (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 panel drug screen and required health clearance
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning for older adults
• Medication administration and IV/med pass familiarity
• Wound care and chronic disease management basics
• Electronic health record documentation and timely charting
• Infection prevention practices and immunization knowledge
• Team collaboration, resident advocacy, and family communication
