Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop timely care plans to support resident needs
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to policy
- Monitor and document changes in condition using clear, professional charting
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues, therapists, and providers to ensure coordinated care
- Perform required Trinity Specialty competency testing and skills checklist participation
- Implement infection control and vaccination protocols to protect residents and staff
- Support residents' dignity and independence through personalized, respectful care
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (state of Pennsylvania) — license verification required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
- Successful Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity Color Vision screening
- Ability to pass a physical/health statement
Education
- Active RN license required (degree/diploma per state licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Familiarity with long-term care protocols and resident-centered care
- Clear, timely documentation and electronic charting skills
- Infection prevention and immunization knowledge
- Good communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Comfort with competency-based testing and ongoing skills validation
