Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment
- Assess residents regularly and develop or update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize resident care
- Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and complete the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) status and ability to meet state licensing requirements; License/Certificate Verification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (2 Step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine) and physical/health statement
- Ability to pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident-focused care
- Proficiency in medication administration and nursing assessments
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and documentation standards
- Good clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and teamwork
- Comfort with competency testing and skills validation processes
