Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
- Document resident status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
- Support residents and families with education, empathy, and clear communication
- Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention efforts
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential
- Experience or interest in long-term care and resident-focused practice
- Ability to work as part of a per diem (PD) pool, covering shifts as needed
- Completion of required personal health history items: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Physical/Health Statement, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Successful Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen as part of onboarding
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Experience with care planning and chronic condition management
- Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced long-term care environment
- Basic familiarity with electronic health records and standard nursing workflows
