Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as an LPN — your bedside presence matters
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide comfort measures to patients
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
- Maintain clear, timely charting and ensure regulatory documentation standards are met
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and understanding
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active license or eligible to obtain NC licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work day shifts and participate in every-other-weekend rotation
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN) or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Vital signs assessment and basic patient monitoring
- Effective communication and patient education abilities
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and providing compassionate bedside care
