Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management and Accreditation division with strategic vision and strong operational oversight
• Manage accreditation, infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, compliance, and credentialing programs
• Develop, implement, and refine quality improvement policies and PDSA cycles across clinical and non-clinical areas
• Oversee EHR quality measurement integration and produce meaningful quality measurement reports
• Supervise and mentor a high-performing team, providing performance management and professional development
• Coordinate regulatory and accreditation survey activities and advise Executive Leadership and the Board
• Investigate complaints, generate actionable recommendations, and ensure timely resolution
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals

Qualifications

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum 3 years supervising healthcare professionals
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Experience with accreditation standards, infection prevention, risk management, and quality measurement
• Comfortable with travel by jet, small aircraft, and ferry as required

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in health-related or business field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of quality and performance improvement methodologies, including PDSA
• Familiarity with accrediting agency requirements and credentialing processes
• Strong skills in program planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Ability to analyze data, develop quality metrics, and produce clear reports
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to lead change and influence outcomes across departments
